Crane Accident: Canton, Ohio

A state trooper, escorting a crane to a construction site, was seriously injured when his cruiser was struck by another car. The uninjured motorist, transported to a local hospital as a precaution, cut in front of the crane, clipping the back of the cruiser, which was leading the convoy.  Charges against the motorist are pending an investigation. — bostonglobe.com
