Crane Accident: Calgary, Alberta

A man died after being struck by a piece of machinery that broke free from a crane at a concrete supply company. The 23-year-old man was operating the crane when one of the shackles hooked to the concrete block snapped and hit him on the left side of his head. RCMP and Alberta Occupational Health and Safety are investigating. — The Calgary Herald
