Crane Accident: Yarmouth, Nova Scotia

Workers were guiding the placement of a concrete panel at the site of a new high school under construction when the 165-ton lattice-boom crawler crane lifting the panel toppled over. Two panels fell as the crane came down, and a panel wall had to be stabilized. No one was hurt, and the Nova Scotia Department of Labor is investigating the accident.
