CCO Training USA Makes On- and Off-Site Training Available

January 11, 2006 -- Doc Bailey Construction and Equipment Company has launched a new division, CCO Training USA, dedicated to the training and certification of crane operators. CCO Training USA was created so that the company could expand its existing successful training schedule and offer more services to new and existing clients. The company has been doing CCO trainings and certification under the name Doc Bailey Construction since 2002. According to the company, CCO Training USA is the only training facility that owns its own tower crane dedicated to training and practical exams.

CCO Training USA President and course instructor, Don “Doc” Bailey has more than 20 years experience in the crane industry. He has developed his own comprehensive training manual and training presentation that supports the success of his students, who have a 75% first-time pass rate. A certified practical examiner, Doc is a certified operator by the NCCCO, holding all four certification designations.

CCO Training USA, located in Oakland, Calif., offers a two-day CCO Written Exam Preparation course for mobile and tower cranes for current operators and a five-day training course for new operators. The training courses are followed up with the CCO written exam, which usually takes place on the day after. For a nominal fee, operators can take the CCO written exam at the facility without the two-day preparatory or training class. Practical exams for mobile and tower cranes are scheduled on an individual and crane specialty basis. In February, students will be able to reserve classroom spots via online registration at www.ccotrainingusa.com.

In addition to courses conducted at the Oakland training facility, CCO Training USA can provide its training and services nationwide. Doc is available to instruct at remote locations so that training and practical exams can be done on site at the client's facility.
