Astro Crane Takes Delivery of 20th Liebherr AT Crane

October 21, 2015 - ASTRO Crane Service recently expanded its crane fleet with a new 77-ton Liebherr LTM 1070-4.1 all-terrain crane. The company now has 20 Liebherr AT cranes in its 25-crane fleet. 

Marty Wright, co-owner of Astro Crane Service, traveled to Liebherr Crane Inc.'s headquarters in Newport News, Va., to pick up LTM 1070-4.2 and drive it back to the yard in Boxborough, Mass., where it will go to work throughout New England.

“We like the roadability and compact size of the LTM 1070-4.2,” says Astro co-owner Rick Marshall.  “With the 164-ft. main boom, the crane is very versatile.”

The company selected the LTM 1070-4.2 because it was immediately available in Newport News, as well as the after-sales support offered by the LCI Service department.
