July 25, 2005 — Join five independent rental associations in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States together in pursuit of benefiting the worldwide equipment rental industry and what do you get? The Global Rental Alliance. Announcing its web site this week, the group hopes to increase the profile and global identity of equipment rental online by providing links to each of the sponsoring organizations.
Alliance members are trade associations that have as their members, businesses that rent equipment to the general public, and suppliers that manufacture equipment that is a part of member business rental inventories. While inventories differ somewhat within each country, they essentially include equipment rented to the construction, homeowner, and special event or party industries. Each association provides products and services to assist its members and serves as an advocate and spokesperson representing them.
Each organization can be directly accessed through www.globalrentalalliance.com for specific information, including dates and links of major events. If traveling to any one of the Alliance member countries, individuals are encouraged to use the “Contact Us” link to assist them in connecting with rental companies or suppliers in that country. For specific Alliance members and their headquarters, visit the web site.
