August 12, 2005 — Arnco, a leading supplier of polyurethane flatproofing products for off-road vehicles, recently announced the appointment of Joe Negrey as vice president of operations. Negrey is the first person to be named vice president by the company in 18 years.
Negrey joined Arnco as manager of its South Gate, Calif., manufacturing facility in 1994, after graduating from California Polytechnic Institute at San Luis Obispo with a bachelor's degree in industrial technology. He was promoted to operations manager two years later and named director of operations in 2001. A native of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., he lives with his wife, Nicole, in Huntington Beach, Calif.
“Mr. Negrey has played a crucial role in Arnco's success as its director of operations and has spearheaded the recent opening of its new 112,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Berea, Ohio,” said Larry Carapellotti, Arnco's president.
