January 12, 2005—Bil-Jax, Archbold, Ohio, introduces its 36/32T trailer-mounted boom lift with a 36-foot platform height and 32 feet of horizontal outreach. This new machine will debut at The Rental Show in Las Vegas, Nev., in February. It is available with either 24-volt DC battery power or a Honda gasoline engine. Other features include a two-person platform with a rated load capacity of 440 pounds, a 360º continuous turntable rotation; hydraulic surge brakes; forklift pockets; outrigger interlocks; and a 110-volt GFI duplex outlet on the platform. The 36/32T can be operated from either the platform or ground control station.

This machine features an automatic, self-leveling hydraulic outrigger system that allows for setup in 30 seconds when all four outriggers are deployed simultaneously. The outriggers provide a leveling capability of 12º and feature 12-inch diameter non-marking footpads for use on sensitive flooring and rough-terrain jobsites.

The 36/32T is designed for towing.
The 36/32T is easily towed behind vehicles with adequate towing capacity and a Class 3 hitch.  A maximum tow speed rating of 60 mph is one of the highest in the industry, providing for faster transportation to and from job sites and equipment yards.

Several options make the 36/32T even more versatile, including a material lift that allows the machine to convert to a light-duty crane by employing the platform quick-disconnect system and the optional material-lifting attachment. With the material-lifting attachment, the 36/32T can be used for sign installation, setting trusses, and a variety of other material-lifting and positioning applications. For on-site powered maneuverability, a drive option lets users operate the outriggers and drive the machine from the platform when it's in the fully-lowered position. Other options include an air line to the platform, a spare tire, a tool tray, and a combination hitch with an adjustable height coupler. For product information, go to www.biljax.com.
