AED Report Shows 10.5% Sales Growth for Dealers in Long Season Regions
July 21, 2004 - The Associated Equipment Dealers (AED) recently reported that dealers in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Carolina and Texas - the “long” season region — reported sales growth in 2003 of 10.5%.
This was nearly three times the growth reported by dealers in the “moderate” season region. “Moderate” states include Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington and West Virginia, which reported sales growth in 2003 of 3.6%.
