National construction leader Stephanie Schmidt-Lehmann, former president of Poole Anderson Construction and 2022 chair of the ABC board of directors, has been named Executive Vice President of Industry Relations and Member Value at Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).
With over 40 years of construction management experience, Schmidt-Lehmann brings strategic vision to enhance ABC's value proposition for its 68 chapters and 22,000 member companies.
In her new role, Schmidt-Lehmann will lead the development of programs and services focused on helping ABC members succeed in winning and delivering work safely, ethically, and profitably. She will oversee ABC's communications, events, strategic partners, member services, marketing teams, and inclusion, diversity, and merit initiatives.
Schmidt-Lehmann, recognized as one of the 2022 Construction Champions Industry Veterans and one of the 2021 Top 9 Outstanding Women in Construction, expressed her passion for ABC. "To now serve the industry that has given me so much opportunity is the honor of a lifetime. I am excited to advance the association’s strategic goals and build strong partnerships."
